We visited the stunning island of Kauai. Absolutely the most
beautiful place we have ever seen. The local people were just overly friendly
to us everywhere.
Take a cab or rent a car. You will want to drive around the island.
We stayed at B & B. Very comfortable.
B&B had no food except breakfast. Found some wonderful restaurants on the island. Roy's in Pip, The Pacific Cafe in Kappa were just terrific.
We took one of the most unusual tours we had ever done (later found out it is the only one of its type in the nation). Called Hawaii Movie Tours, we toured in a comfortable van to famous movie locations on the
island. The two guides were just hilarious and very interesting. The van had television and they showed what was filmed at each spot and had great stories of things that happened to the stars who were there filming. Hint: we had a difficult time getting seats. This tour sells out daily so it is best to call ahead. Don't miss this one!
N.A.
We don't have young children, so really don't know.
